MONUMENTS

Monuments are the structures which are either created explicitly to commemorate a person or an event or which are made in previous time and has become important to remember the late people or past events. But some monuments are so whimsical and precious that they become the brightly shining star from the vast universe of beautiful structures. They are showcased as the world heritage site.

Foundation Thailand

It is a saga but a very practical truth of today. These valuable gems of our country are getting endangered and if serious and bold steps are not taken for their revival, the country will be like a bride without jewelry. Though India is the treasure of temples, monuments and ancient amazing pieces of art and beauty, I’ll limelight some famous monuments marked as world heritage site.

- QUTUB MINAR- in Delhi built by Qutbuddin Aybak in 1193;

- RED FORT- in Delhi built by Shah Jahan in 1639;

- HUMAYUN’S TOMB – in Delhi built in 1570; these three are among the world heritage sites.

The other famous monuments in Delhi are:

- 22ft TALL IRON PILLAR-in the year AD 375-415;

- JAMA MASJID-India’s largest mosque built in 1655;

- PURANA QILA, JANTAR MANTAR and INDIA GATE.

Some other world heritage sites in India are:

- TAJ MAHAL-a tomb in Agra built by Shah Jahan in 1631 for his wife Mumtaz Mahal;

- FATEHPUR SIKRI-a magnificent red sandstone city in Sikri near Agra built by Mughal emperor Akbar.

- AJANTA & ELLORA CAVES-present in Maharashtra these caves were built near about 6th century. The caves depict the Buddhist and the Jataka tales.

- ELEPHANTA CAVES-present in Maharashtra these caves were also built near 6th and the 7th century has a 6-m high bust of lord Shiva.

- SONAR QILA-a fort in Rajasthan was built by Rawal Jaiswal in 1156.

- CHARMINAR-it is a square shaped monument built in Andhra Pradesh in 1591.

- SANCHI STUPAS-they are one of the oldest Stupas in Bhopal.

- BHIMBETKA-in Madhya Pradesh they are the rock shelters discovered in 1957. They have many different paintings.

- BASILICA OF BOM JESUS-present in old Goa it holds the tomb of St. Francis Xavier.

- HAMPI-present in Karnataka has many beautiful temples.

- MAMALLAPURAM-it is a group of rock-cut monuments built near 7th and 8th century in Tamil Nadu.

Monuments are getting spoiled: there is not one but many ways in which the valuable and literally non-renewable structures created originally by ancient artists of different dynasties are getting ruined.

The chemicals are released and merged in the air through motor vehicles, coal-fired power plants, nuclear waste disposal, plastic factories and other heavy industries. Even spraying of pesticides and chemicals in agricultural fields are harming the quality of air. The harmful gases released in the environment are basically oxides of Carbon, Sulphur and Nitrogen and the chloro-fluoro carbon gases. These gases are making the air polluted, increasing the global warming and even depleting the ozone layer allowing the UV-rays to enter in the earth’s atmosphere. These bad elements share hands with the other acts causing harm to our heritage. Making the matter worst the deforestation has crossed the limit of pollution. All these negative human behavior together are ruining the environment, basic life and also our very prestigious & precious world heritage sites.

The basic structure of these sites is getting weaker with the pace of time. Deep into their foundation the acids and the chemicals are penetrated which are shattering the skeleton of these whimsical creations leading to the breakdown of their both anatomy and morphology. Either the paints or the detailed intricate work are dropping down; or the luster and the lacquer on the stone are diminished or getting dull.

The chemicals merged with the air and falls on these monuments as the acid rain washing away the beauty of these great sites.

The natural glow or colors of the stones are getting black. The clear example is the Taj Mahal-it is made up of white stone called ‘Sangemarmar’. Due to the presence of dense smog in the atmosphere the ‘Taj Mahal’ is literally turning in the black beauty.

People scrub on the wall of these beautiful structures. Couples write their names and love messages on the walls, throwing garbage and spitting the chewed beetle and through many other obscene attitudes ruin the crystal clear beauty of these monuments.

The scorching heat stops the tourists to visit these places. The intense global warming, deforestation and over pollution has increases the temperature to such an extent that people doesn’t like to view these beauties with itching and sweating all through body.

The foreign tourists who enhance the value of these sites and propagate about their art and beauty are being exploited and used falsely by some bad Indian hosts. This cools down the enthusiasm of the foreigners to visit India and ultimately the economical degradation is the result. Fewer tourists, less economy and reduced revival of the monuments. If these heritages are not revived from time to time, then after few years they will permanently become the history.

The metro advancement acts as a dike. Dike prevents flood but here the metro stations construction and metro route construction are obstructing the stagnancy of these monuments. For instance the tall Qutab Minar getting distract due to the passing route of metro.

But it’s never too late. Let’s join our hands together and put our step forward for the revival mission of the Indian Gems- OUR MONUMENTS:

“The conservation and preservation of these monuments cannot be neglected further”…. Well written and shared by C.B.S.E ‘Siksha Sadan’ to all heads of C.B.S.E affiliated schools on 7th Jan’10.

The cultural ministry showed their courtesy by supporting the subject and lectures in the schools for students to understand and respect their world heritage site.

The books are not the only solution. As always said “action speaks louder than words”, the students should be frequently taken on a trip to these very special monuments. With the proper guidance their knowledge about the ancient monuments should be enhanced. Quiz must be arranged on the basis of world heritage sites and other monuments. Prizes awarded to the winners will encourage the pupils to avail the thorough information of their heritage. The students should be explained the reasons for the protection and the revival of these sites.

The generation availing the fields like civil construction, paints, interior & exterior decoration and designing should be guided to promote their wide creative knowledge in the revival of monuments.

The former and the common style of reviving these world heritage sites and monuments is converting them totally or their particular part(s) in museum, library, tourist place or hotel. One famous example is ‘Chauki Dhani’ in Jaipur. By setting up museums or libraries in these prehistoric beauties, the visitors will get the interesting and the elaborate knowledge of these sites. By converting them in hotels or tourist places, the government will get the foreign revenue and the motive to rehabilitate these ancient creativities.

VOTE FOR TAJ MAHAL – a very fruitful steps to position this whimsical monument on top. Similarly, voting can be supportive to save and revive other monuments. The step can be laid down through:

Internet- software can be designed to inform the viewers and net savvies about these heritage sites and asking for their votes in favor. This method will cover the people review globally.

Besides internet, the NGOs can work on this procedure by setting up seminars, meetings and small get together. The government on this prospect should support these organizations through financial and legal formalities.

Cinema has always inspired public. People literally follow the trend which celebrities start. If cinema and the celebrities perform in those films and shows that convey the message for the protection and the rehabilitation of the monuments, the effect will be strong and productive. The speeches and the messages delivered by the celebrities on the radio, T.V, theatre and on road shows boost up the patriotic feeling hidden deep in the heart of Indians.

Proper security of these eminent works of great artists is required to avoid destruction either by theft or any other way. In addition, if someone is found guilty he/she should be punished either by imprisonment or a fine according to the extent of harm being done to the heritage.

The mentioned above are the few steps that can be put forward for the appreciating work of monument revival. Besides this, national culture should be strengthened not only in dance, music and other performing arts, but also in the rehabilitation and defending of the world heritage sites and monuments.

The procession has started, don’t wait and just share hand on hand being part of this divine act.

 Monuments of India

Qatar is sometimes called the “Olympic paradise” in the world. In this Arab country you can feel the Olympic atmosphere: many children competing in athletics, tennis, football, volleyball, basketball, karate, gymnastics and judo. Cylist legend Eddy Merckx said, “Qatar as a country pushes for sport. No other country in the world is doing what Qatar is doing for sport – especially for kids. As a child, sport is a great school of life. It shows you that just talent is not enough – you also have to work very hard. If you’re a lawyer, you stay a lawyer for life. As a sportsman or sportswomen, you have to start every season at the beginning again. It’s hard to become the best, but it’s even more difficult to stay the best year after year.” Certainly, Qatar – it is about the size of Hawaii- has one of the best sporting systems outside of the industrialized world.

Foundation Thailand

The Arab athlete Saif Saaeef Shaheen won the gold medal in the 3,000m steeplechase at the 2003 World Athletics Championships in Paris, France. There were celebrations for Qatar, after he won the gold medal. Saif Saaeef Shaheen wrote history for Qatar becoming the first Qatari to win a world championship in the Olympic sport.

Qatar qualified for the 2007 Handball World Championship. It was the third time that Qatar had qualified for a World Cup. Under the direction of Ekrem Jaganjac, Qatar`s national coach, the Qatari team defeated Australia 36-22. “In Qatar, there are no outstanding players, but there are many enthusiastic young ones, and I concentrate all my work on them”, said Jaganjac, who was a member of the enlarged Yugoslav team for the Summer Olympics in 1972.

Doha was scheduled to host the FIFA World Youth Championship in 1995.

Ahmed Ibraheem was the first runner to represent Qatar at an Olympic track event when he competed in the 10,000 metres and 5,000 metres at the Games of the XXIV Olympiad in Seoul (South Korea) in 1988.

The Qatari football team finished sixth at the Olympic Games in Barcelona (Spain). In the Barcelona 1992 Olympic Football Tournament 16 men`s teams competed in four rounds (preliminaries, quarter-finals, semi-finals, finals). Under the brilliant leadership Mubarak Nooralla, Qatar defeated Egypt (African champion) 1-0 in the first round. Qatar represented Asia in the quarters finals, but was eliminated by Poland, one of the best teams of Europe. The Olympic players were Ahmed Khalil Saleh, Hamad Al-Atteya, Rashid Shami Suwaid, Zamel Essa Al-Kuwari, A-Nasser Ali Al-Obaidly, Waleef Bukhit Maayof, Mubarak Nooralla, Juman Salem Johar, Mahmoud Yaseen Souf, Fahad Mohd Al-Kuwari, Adel Mulla Al-Mulla, Mohd Al Mohannadi and A-Aziz Hassan Jaloof.

Doha -the country`s capital and largest city- is one of the most modern sporting cities in the world. It has many sports facilities. The Khalifa International Stadium is the nation`s largest stadium. It is one of the most beautiful and modern stadiums in the world. Doha is also the home of the Hamad Aquatic Centre.

This Asian country organized the 1999 Handball World Junior Championship. There were 17 teams: Denmark, Sweden, Egypt, France, Yugoslavia, Spain, Russia, Greece, Tunisia, Portugal, Croatia, Qatar, Brazil, Israel, Norway, Hungary and New Zealand.

Doha hosted the Asian Games in December 2006. The opening ceremony on 1 December was held at the Khalifa International Stadium before a crowd of more than 50,000. At the 2006 Asian Games, Sheik Mohammed Bin Hamad Al -Thani, a Qatari horseman, did the honors of carrying the Olympic flame and lighting the torch. A record number of 45 countries and territories participated in the event. The Olympic village was home to 10,500 sportspeople. The competitive programme included 39 sport events: archery, athletics, badminton, baseball, basketball, bodybuilding, bowling, kayak, chess, cycling, diving, equestrian, fencing, football, golf, gymnastics, handball, field hockey, judo, kabaddi, karate, rowing, rugby, sailing, sepaktakraw, shooting, softball, squash, swimming, synchronized swimming, table tennis, triathlon, tennis, volleyball, beach volleyball, water polo, weightlifting, wushu and wrestling. These Asian Games will be remembered for its excellent organization and hospitality. The success of the Asian Games was result of the combined efforts of the Qatari government and the organizing committee (Doha Asian Games Organizing Committee).
The best deal in Forex may well be to have an offshore Forex license. Although money can certainly be made in Forex it can be lost too. The long term winner is Forex is the broker. The old saying from the California Gold Rush days comes to mind. “When everyone is digging for gold it is the time to be selling picks and shovels.” With an offshore Forex license you or your corporation could collect commissions and fees on trading in a market that trades up for Trillion a day.

Central banks, institutional traders, and currency speculators trade around the clock. Some profit and some lose. The most reliable profits in Forex or other markets are the commissions paid to the broker. It is possible to obtain an offshore Forex broker’s license in a number of tax advantaged, financially discrete jurisdictions.

Foundation Thailand

Going Where the Money Is

The legendary bank robber, Willy Sutton, spent most of his life in prison and when he was out he robbed banks. When asked why he kept robbing banks (and going to prison) he responded, “That’s where the money is!” Today – without robbing banks – an individual or corporation can set up shop in an offshore location, advertise, gain clients and prosper while others speculate on whether China will revalue the Yuan (Renmibi) or not.

Many currency speculators did well in anticipating the PIIGS matter and how it would drive the Euro down. Others, later, recognized a reversed head and shoulders charting pattern that indicated a stop, at least temporarily, to the Euro’s slide. At all times and in all markets the licensed Forex broker makes money on the trades and does not worry a lot about fundamental and technical analysis of market trends and market reversals.

How to Get a Forex License

As in all business endeavors it is wise to obtain sound advice and counsel. You will want to find the most advantageous offshore location for being a Forex broker. It won’t just be a matter of which license is easiest to obtain but which offers you the widest range possibilities, which jurisdiction is most tax advantaged for the profits you expect to make, and which jurisdiction is the most financially discrete.

The application process for an offshore Forex license will include filing an application as well as affidavits detailing personal and financial information on all directors, shareholders, and officers of your Forex company. To the extent that you wish to protect your privacy it is possible in many jurisdictions to use qualified nominees. The application fee including government fees including setup cost will run around ,000.

It is entirely possible to set up an offshore company and/or foundation which will in turn own your Forex brokerage. It is entirely possible and, probably, advisable to outsource a fair amount of the work of your brokerage firm. Look for an advisor going in that will have to competence to help streamline your business, set up a successful web site, and in all ways help you structure your business in the most efficient and cost effective manner.

The 14 October 1973 revolution will be remembered as one of

the darkest periods in Thai political history. It was the Day of

Great Sorrow when an uprising by the people brought down a

military dictator. But the costs in terms of human lives left an

indelible and traumatic scar on Thai society.

The principal characters involved were:

Foundation Thailand

Field Marshall Thanom Kittikachon, the Prime Minister, Field

Marshall Praphat, the Police Chief and Colonel Narong,

Commander 11 Infantry Regiment. Narong, Thanom’s son was

married to the daughter of Praphat.

Thanom had taken power from Field Marshall Sarit in 1963.

In 1971, Thanom dissolved parliament and imposed one-man

rule. The decade of his rule in the 1960′s saw an escalation in

Thai involvement in the Vietnam War. The growing US

military presence in Thailand and the deployment of Thai

forces in Vietnam brought on political, economic and social

costs.

The early 70′s was an age of growing political awareness in an

increasingly educated middle-class and demands for economic

progress from a society tired of a regime that had stayed too

long. The plot thickened as rivalry between various military

and political factions intensified.

It was against this backdrop that the tragedy on 14 October

1973 unfolded. The flames were stoked in June 1973 when

student activists were expelled for anti-government activities.

The confrontation reached a climax in October when 13

students led by student leader, Thirayuth Boonmi, were

arrested.

Students from Thammasat University massed at the

Democracy Monument demanding the release of their

colleagues. Workers and the general population who were

equally disgruntled with Thanom rallied in support.

Estimates of number of demonstrators exceeded 200,000, the

biggest public demonstration in Thai history.

Things came to a head when the student leaders who were

released were rearrested. The die was cast for a bloody

confrontation on that fateful day on 14 October 1973.

When the army moved in, a massacre ensued. Students ran for

their lives, many jumping for cover into nearby canals. Some

sought refuge in the Royal Palace at Chitlada where the gates

were opened for the fleeing students. There were tales of untold

heroism as some fought back by pushing buses across roads to

block tanks.

Recriminations continue to be traded between the people

involved on 14 October 1973. Conspiracy theories abound;

rivals out to dispose of Thanom by manipulating the students;

a plot by army rivals who instigated the confrontation to

discredit Thanom.

Whatever the causes, it didn’t justify the brutal use of raw

military might against unarmed civilians. It was to the credit of

some military units that they refused to be involved in putting

down the popular uprising.

In the aftermath of the bloodbath, Thanom, Praphat and

Narong were asked to step down in the interest of national

unity and leave the country.

Sanya Thammasak, the Rector of Thammasat University, was

appointed as the civilian Prime Minister. A new constitution

was drawn up and elections were scheduled for January 1975.

There were hopes for a lasting and stable democracy.

In 1976, Thanom returned to Thailand to trigger another

round of protests, an even greater tragedy and darker period

in Thai political history. Again the events revolved around

Thammasat University in the month of October.

Where are the protagonists in the 14 October 1973 revolution

today? Thanom died in Thailand in 2004. Thirayuth Boonmi,

the student leader is a lecturer in Thammasat University and

still an outspoken critic on national issues.

The 14 October 1973 spirit lives on. The 14

October 1973 Memorial stands as a monument to the

sacrifice by the brave young men and women who stood up

and died for a cause.

The vital importance of the basics of the Christian Faith is evident, for without them Christianity loses its difference, substance and depth. Indeed the very essence of the Christian Faith rest upon these major doctrines of the Lord Jesus Christ. There are six principles of these foundation teachings. In other articles, we have examined the first four. They are available for your viewing right here on EzineArticles. The six principles of the Doctrine of Christ is found in the Book of Hebrews Chapter six, verse one and two. In this particular lesson, we shall now look at the fifth of these six principles of the doctrine of Christ. It is the Doctrine of Resurrection of the dead.

Many people desire to know the truth concerning the resurrection of the dead. As a matter of fact, some have wondered if there is such a thing, and then came to their own conclusion that when you are dead, you are done. However, the Bible teaches otherwise. God’s Holy Word reveals that there is resurrection from the dead and life after death.

Foundation Thailand

Now concerning the resurrection of the dead, it is clearly stated in the Bible that there is more than one resurrection. This is why when mentioning this particular principle of the Doctrine of Christ, it is called “resurrection of the dead”, instead of, “the resurrection of the dead.”

If it had been called, “the resurrection of the dead, it may have been assumed and concluded that there is only one resurrection of the dead, of the which we all would be apart, together, at the same time. But there is more than one resurrection of the dead, wherefore the Bible simply says, “resurrection of the dead.”

The Sacred Scriptures teaches that man is an eternal spirit being, possessing a soul and living in a physical body. We are more than just flesh and blood. And when our physical bodies are dead and in the grave, the real person, the real us, lives on. Where we go after physical death is determine by the choices we make in this life. According to the Bible, those of us who accept God’s gift of eternal life, by receiving Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal Savior, will at the time of death, depart from our bodies to be with Christ in heaven. (2 Corinthians 5: 1-8)

As it pertains to those who have not received the Messiah God has sent, The Lord Jesus, they likewise will depart from their bodies. However their spirits will not go to be with the Lord, but the rather go to a place of suffering, a state which prove to be anything but pleasurable or fun. More will be said about the Bible’s declaration of these things when we examine the sixth foundational principle of the Doctrine of Christ. For now, let us continue to look at the two resurrections spoken of in the Scriptures. Of these two resurrections, our Lord Jesus Christ spoke in the Book of John, chapter five.

Jesus spoke of the resurrection of the just and the resurrection of the unjust or righteous. So, there are two resurrections. And they are not the same, and neither is there times or seasons. The resurrection of the just will occur at the time of the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. To put this in its context, according to the Bible, the Christian Faith is built upon the truth and reality that the Lord Jesus Christ has risen from the dead and ascended up the Heaven, from where He shall also descend back to the earth, twice, in the future. The first time the Master returns He will be coming for His people, those who know Him as Lord and Savior. This is spoken of as the “Blessed Hope” of the Believer. (Titus 1: 13, 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-16. We, who have given our lives to Christ look for, or should be looking for, with anticipation for the return of the Master. This is our hope. This is our dream. This is our joy and crown of rejoicing. Jesus is coming again for us and oh what hope it gives us in the midst of a world that is going insane, with no sight of changing course. For this reason we aim to live right and do what is godly and right. For this reason we purpose to live holy. (1 John 3: 2-3)

The second time the Lord Jesus Christ comes, is when He will come and reign over this world as the King of kings and Lord of lords. At this moment, He will come with His people. So, the first time He comes, He will come for His people and the next time He comes, it will be with His people.

When the Master comes for His saints, we will experience the resurrection of the just. Those of us who are in the graves will arise from the dead, with a new and glorified body, free from mortality and corruption. And then, those of us who are still alive will also experience this change and transformation of our bodies. We shall be changed. The shall we arise and go to Heaven to be with Jesus.

But what about the second resurrection, the resurrection of those who have not accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior? What does the Bible teach about that? The unrighteous dead shall also be raised from the dead. However, their resurrection will be so that they can stand before the Great White Throne of the Great and Awesome God, Jehovah, and give an account of their lives and choices. This is seen in the Scriptures in the Book of Revelation chapter twenty.

The Bible teaches resurrection from the dead. If you believe the Scriptures and receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you shall have eternal bliss to look forward to. But if you determine that when you are dead you are done, then you have no blessed hope, only gloom to expect and experience.

Agel Enterprises on the cover looks like a great opportunity for the average person to create success. They have hip and trendy looking products, flashy field leadership and a good story. What about Agel caused me to leave? What did I see that caused me to get out?

Here is my brief review of Agel. First, lets talk about the compensation structure. You must be a top recruiter to truly make money in this business. It is weighted heavily on front loading product, high autoship volumes and consistent recruiting to replace those that drop out. You residual income on the autoship which becomes the sustaining part of the business if your stop recruiting is .50 for every TWO cases of product sold. You will receive 10% for of the volume of the lesser leg. If one leg sells 10 boxes and the other 2 you will receive a 10% commission on the 2 boxes. There are bonuses for recruiting otherwise known as fast start bonuses. The fast start commissions range from to 0 depending upon how much product the person you enroll buys. Again, if you are a heavy recruiter you can make money quickly otherwise not.

Foundation Thailand

The products are unique they are different and have some appeal. However, my family of three would have to buy at least 8-10 boxes a month to get the right supplements for our health. This equates to about 0 PER MONTH on nutritional products. The average person will look at these products and come to the conclusion that they are too expensive. While they are “sexy” and hip the price does not line up. The reality is they have inflated the price to accommodate a commission at the expense of the customer.

I joined Agel to take the products and see if the business has anything too offer. My downline quickly grew with large volumes. While this was exciting what happened next was not too encouraging. Those volumes dropped 50% or more within a few months as people continued to drop out faster than they were coming in.

Agel Enterprises is a standard network marketing company with average products and an average compensation plan. While I believe Agel is not a scam, someone will need 1000′s of people to create any kind of mentionable income.
